The Graphic Design emphasis is a comprehensive program that prepares students for a career in the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of visual communication. The curriculum includes a mix of design theory and practical application, with courses in typography, branding, and packaging design. Upon graduation, students will have a strong portfolio and the skills needed to succeed in the competitive field of graphic design.

DIGITAL DESIGN

The Digital Design emphasis is a cutting-edge program that focuses on the study of visual communication in the digital age. The curriculum includes courses in user experience design, interactive design, motion graphics, and digital illustration. Students learn to create effective designs for a wide range of digital platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and social media. Studio classes provide opportunities for students to work on real-world projects and receive feedback from instructors and peers.

INTERACTION DESIGN

The Interaction Design emphasis focuses on the study of designing interactive digital products, environments, and services. The curriculum includes courses in user research, prototyping, user interface design, and human-computer interaction, as well as the use of industry-standard software and tools. Students learn to create effective designs that are intuitive, user-centered, and accessible, for a wide range of digital platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and IoT devices.

USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN

The Master of User Experience Design (UXD) program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic field of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. Our program is designed to work closely with our Masters of Software Development program, where graduates emerge with expertise in both design and implementation.
